About Mohan Nair, M.D.

Trained at the University of California (Irvine) and Harvard, Dr. Nair is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in Brain Injury Medicine, Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Additionally, he is board certified in Pain Medicine, Psychopharmacology and Behavioral Neurology/Neuropsychiatry.

 

Dr. Nair’s training included the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. McLean Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham and the largest psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is America’s #1 Hospital for Psychiatric Care, according to the U.S. News & World Report Annual “Best Hospitals” survey results released in 2022.

 

Dr. Mohan Nair trained in infant psychiatry and Neurodevelopmental Disorders/Autism at Boston Children’s Hospital, a leading center for autism research is the #1 pediatric hospital in the nation for the 9th year in a row according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2022-23 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll.

 

Over the last decade, Dr. Nair has focused on traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions that affect mood and behavior, chronic pain, and severe psychological trauma, including the use of ketamine, and exploring research on psychedelics for these conditions.
